VerticalCrypto Art Residency
MISSION
The mission of the VerticalCrypto Art Residency program is to democratize access to knowledge by providing free educational programs in the fields of NFTs, Crypto Art, Web3 and the metaverse to creators of all kinds. These programs are committed and devoted to supporting, uplifting, educating and providing the tools and resources to empower creators and artists around the world on metaverse and NFT-native skills.
OVERVIEW
The residency program duration is of 12 weeks with approx. 20 artists in each cohort. The curriculum starts with a 9-week learning phase, during which residents attend virtual classes covering a range of metaverse-native topics with thought-leaders of the NFT, web3 and crypto-art ecosystem.
The last 3 weeks are dedicated to the creation of NFT artworks. At the end of the residency, artists have the option to donate a piece of artwork to the VCA Residency Program which will be auctioned with proceeds going towards supporting further residency programs and emerging artists. The artworks are then presented at a metaverse exhibition and auction.
